SPEP has created a line of stainless steel hinges that are second to none. These hinges can withstand extremely harsh conditions due to their reistance to corrosion and wear. These hinges can also help to reduce the long term costs of repairing old worn hinges because they will simply last longer than a standard steel hinge.
A piano hinge is basically a continuous hinge that is constructed with thin material to reduce their size and create a discrete hinge. However these hinges have found uses in many industries besides the music industry. We a SPEP have recently added aluminum piano hinges to our product line in order to create a light weight and more corrosion resistant hinge to our valued customers.
Footman Loops are great attachment points for straps due to their low profile and wide shape. For example they make excellent door stops by simply attaching one loop to the door and one to the frame with a strap in between. This will prevent a door on and RV or anywhere else from overextending and damaging the handle or siding. We recently added Stainless Steel Footman Loops to our product line which resist corrosion in even the worst conditions.
Twist latches are used in nearly every industry for a multitude of latches. Twist latches are commonly called butterfly latches as well. We make twist latches for every industry, with options in stainless steel or steel, and in small, medium and large sizes.
If you have any questions regarding our line of butterfly latches in all of our different varieties, please feel free to give our talented sales team a call at 310-608-0693.
Continuous hinge are the same as piano hinges. Continuous hinges are also called piano hinges.
Sierra Pacific Engineering and Products has added a line of stainless steel footman loops to their product line. A stainless steel footman loop will ensure that no matter what the environment, the loop will not succumb to the elements. A footman loop is a low profile tie down usually used to stop the rotation of a door past a specified point. Usually one loop is attached to the door and one to the wall, then nylon webbing is attached to both. As the door opens the loops draw away from each other until the webbing stops the motion to avoid over rotation of the door. This acts the same way as door stop would to avoid damage to the wall or the handle on the door. The advantage of a footman loop system is that in applications where a protruding object, like a door stop would be disadvantageous like on the outside of an R.V.
Sierra Pacific Engineering and Products is expanding their line of spring loaded hinges. These hinges come in a variety of sizes for any application. Spring loaded hinges come with a spring that is integrated into the center of the hinge. This allows for the hinge to keep a lid closed or open until someone pushes/pulls the lid to move it. This product works great for any application where it is desirable for a lid or door to return to a specific position when not in use. In any application material is always an important decision. This is why SPEP has created spring loaded hinged in cold rolled steel and stainless steel. Superior quality is always the goal at SPEP and this is why you can be assured that these new spring loaded hinges will meet your every expectation.
Sierra Pacific Engineering and Products has added a new adjustable rod guide to their product line. It is the 710AL, it is not possible to weld steel to aluminum so SPEP has created a new rod guide in aluminum. Now an aluminum NEMA enclosure can be produced with more aluminum internal components. This allows for easy production of enclosures as well as a more corrosion resistant system. SPEP has received an ISO 9000 certification so high quality parts can always be guaranteed.
