Help Us Improve Our Handles Designs
Something most people forget about Sierra Pacific Engineering and Products is that we design and manufacture all our own products, including L handles. That’s the “E” part of SPEP – engineering. We employ teams of innovative engineers to not only design, build, and produce our products, but also to constantly tweak and tinker with our existing designs. It’s our opinion that progress never ends and competition never ends, so we’d better be on the ball with constant innovation in the areas that matter. L handles may have been around for many years, but that doesn’t mean that the design is perfect. Things can always be improved.
If you, by some chance, are unhappy with our current offerings of L handles and have an idea of your own, feel free to contact our engineering department. If you provide sketches or prototypes, there’s a good chance our engineering team will be able to produce your L handles. An in person meeting can also be arranged, wherein we’d discuss your suggestions and models and analyze their effectiveness from a number of perspectives, including function, materials, aesthetics, and target cost. If your L handles prove to be functional, we can proceed. The materials also have to pass muster – SPEP doesn’t work with shoddy raw material. We also have a commitment to aesthetics that comes across in the simplistic, minimalist design of our products. Any new L handles we design would have to satisfy that aesthetic quality. And finally, cost plays a big role in whether or not your L handles will be viable options. Keeping prices competitive while retaining quality is our biggest concern, so that has to figure into the equation.
By all means, send in your ideas. We’d be happy to examine them. Or, you could go the old fashioned route and just order L handles direct from us. We take care to uphold those same standards in our existing designs, so you can rest assured that whichever route you choose you’ll be getting the best product possible. |
