Paddle handles are designed with an inset pan and a flip-out handle for actuating a latch. Paddle handles offer an aerodynamic, recessed surface that is useful for crating and cases, electronic enclosures and truck/trailer applications.
Sierra Pacific Engineering and Products manufactures paddle handles in three categories: junior, standard, or two-point standard. For smaller applications, the junior size is sufficient, while larger doors may require either the standard or the two-point standard size. Some styles come with an optional release that allows the handles to be opened from inside an enclosure.
At SPEP, we offer paddle handles with a sliding flat bolt, a standard shaped 30 degree bolt, or a rotating cam with optional rod guide. Our paddle handles come with different mounting options, including threaded studs with mounting fasteners, a mounting bracket with lock nut, or mounting holes.
We also carry paddle handle accessories, such as poron gaskets for the pans, rod guides with set screws, inside releases, locks, and strike plates.
Our paddle handles are made in stainless steel with polished, zinc-plated or brushed finishes, or steel with either a black powder coated finish, or electrogalvanized finish, which is better for paining. We also make a paddle handle in black plastic. Most of our handles come in both locking and non-locking styles.
